PLAN BBQ part 1.haha, now ive caught your attention? ;]
okay, so far the people who actually reads this blog have no objections to a bbq?
i think it should be fine la,
as long as everyone's more enthu, we can have truck-loads of fun! ;D
so uhm, i think the idea of "someone do this, someone do that" aint very feasible,
cos its abit like, all words no action,
and disorganised too.
people wont know what they have to do and stuff..
THEREFORE!
ive gotten some info for the bbq for you guys.
ohyea, you can post or tag whatever things you have in mind, the info for the bbq and stuff and get high everyone! ;DDD

first up, the DATES.
here's what i have in mind.
' preferably sunday.
- most people have youth service on saturday evening.
- some people have trainings on weekdays. [eg, me, -.-]
- no school the next day, school hols!
' must be in november, preferably early november.
- looking at the responses, alotalot&alot of people should have camps and activities at the later part of the holiday.
- before people fly away!
' bbq dinner will be ideal, we can play in the afternoon and bbq in the evening? ;D
so! here're the november sundays:
02, 09, 16, 23 nov.
i think we should cancel out 02 nov, its too early.
the ideal one should be 16 nov.
if not 9. then 23.

okay guys, from responses, some people suggested that we can have it on friday instead.
reasons for change:
' sunday may be considered a family day [?]
' we can hang out till very late and sleep in on saturday
' the last day of weekdays.
' holiday, no school!
and here's the fridays of november:
7, 14, 21, 28 nov.

second thing, BBQ PITS.
okay, jingheng suggested the changi beach, but leeying said its full of dead fishes [?].
and its not very popular..
ITS STILL A POSSIBILITY, but lets look at the more popular beaches first, cos people visit them more often and wont get lost if they have a bad sense of direction [eg, me again!].
PASIR RIS.
facilities/activities:
' children playground [lol, i have a deprived childhood! kiddin la, -.-]
- i went there before, the giant space net's uber fun, but i think its under construction..
' cycling/skates.
- rental kiosks available, but we're supposed to catch up? -shrugs-
(btw, there's no more kids kampong for kiddos, lol!)
pits:
' they have 65 bbq pits
' i saw the maps for the pits, most of them are near toilets, so we can clean up easily.
' i can help to book too! i think we can go to some random axs and book[;
' 20bucks.
EAST COAST PARK.
facilities/activities:
' cycling/rollerblading.
- rental kiosks available too.
' bird sanctuaries.
- NO IM JUST KIDDIN!
' beach is 7.5m.
- beach volley?
' fly kite!
- IM KIDDIN AGAIN!
pits:
' 80 bbq pits.
' they're all very near carparks, i'll tell you which carpark is the nearest when the pit is chosen.
' most of them should be near toilets.
' there's an axs near one of the areas, we can book on the spot?
' 16bucks for 4m.
' 20bucks for 6m.
OTHER BBQ PLACES.
to go to pasir ris or ecp, you can take mrt or bus or ask your mum and dad to drive you,
or just take a cab!
i'll provide info on how to go when the place is decided, no prob! ;D
HOWEVER, if all of them are too far and inconvenient for most people,
there're alternatives:
' changi [nearer, i hope?]
- 16bucks.
' punggol [SUPER NEAR, -.-]
- 12bucks.
' regentville [we just have to be guaikias and bbq obediently, -.-]

- should be easy to book, alot of people stay there horr.

- 6.1 boys get together to play soccer again!
- the girls can play cap's ball/beach volley, no prob, but from experience, err..

- the dares must be fun la, if not i'll doze off, :x
' classic again: poker? Zzzz.

highlight of the gathering, FOOD.
important things for bbq needed:
' charcoal.
' fire starters.
' matchsticks/lighters.
' wire thingum.
' satay sticks.
' tongs.
' paper plates & plastic cups.
' tissues.
' 1.5 litre drinks.
- from experience, drinks finish the fastest, so we need alot.
- and therefore, optional,
' ICE & ice container (tumbler?)
food for bbq:
' marshmellows *STARSTARSTAR*
' fishballs.
' crabsticks.
' sausages.
' chicken wings? O_O
' any food for bbq thats edible!
and if the bbq fails, we have backup!
' snacks.
- j&j, ruffles, doritos, lays, pringles, ;D
' gummies!
- natural confectionary [sp?], yupi bears!
(no im just kiddin, bring these too, regardless of bbq fail or not)
FOOD MUST BE HALAL, BE CONSIDERATE! ;]
lastly, MONEY.
when you buy stuff, get the receipt.
we can add everything and divide among the people present for bbq[;

the most impt thing now is the bbq pits and activities,
